Dr. Mark Kazmierski has been practicing for more than 30 years and is one of the region’s most respected orthodontists. His superb clinical training and experience combined with a knowledgeable, caring and personalized approach to each patient is well regarded by the entire orthodontic and dental community.
Dr. Kazmierski earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, and his D.M.D with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He completed a three-year orthodontic residency at the prestigious University of Connecticut, Department of Orthodontics.
In addition to his exceptional patient care, Dr. Kazmierski stays on the leading edge of his profession as both a faculty member of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Orthodontics, and with continuing education programs.
Dr. Mark Kazmierski is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, New Jersey Association of Orthodontics, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontics, The American Dental Association, New Jersey and Pennsylvania Dental Associations, and Mid-Atlantic Orthodontic Association.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Erin Kazmierski-Furno earned her B.S. degree from Seton Hall University, graduated Dean’s list and earned her D.M.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After completing a one year residency at UMDNJ and earning a certificate in Advanced Education, Dr. Kazmierski-Furno obtained her certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Dental Science from the renowned University of Connecticut. She was selected to serve as Chief Resident in recognition of her tremendous work ethic, leadership and clinical skills.
She supports and promotes organized dentistry and currently serves on the executive board of the Southern Dental Society component of the NJDA as President Elect and in 2015 she will be the President. She is also a member of the American Dental Association as well as the American Association of Orthodontics.
Dr. Erin lives in her hometown of Medford Lakes, NJ with her husband, John and daughter, Blakely. They recently adopted a 5 year old boxer, Maggie from the NJ Boxer Rescue. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to LBI in the summer, spinning and jogging for exercise. Kazmierski Orthodontics proudly supports education and athletics in all of the local communities. Dr. Erin is often seen at local events such as the MS walk and MLEF paddle-a-thon.
Dr. Lynch was actually a patient of Dr. Kazmierski’s when she was 11 years old! She returned to the office during her high school and college years to work for Dr. Kazmierski, helping the assistants, sterilizing instruments, and taking radiographs.
In 2004, she graduated with high honors from The College of New Jersey with a BS in Biology. She then received her dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2008, graduating with highest honors among the ten highest-ranked students in her class. While at UPenn, she received National Board Part I Honors, the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award, the Hanau Best of the Best Prosthodontic Award, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy Senior Student Award.
In 2011, Dr. Lynch completed her orthodontic education at the University of Connecticut, where she earned a Certification in Orthodontics and a Master of Dental Science. She received the highest score nationwide on the 2010 American Board of Orthodontics Written Exam, Module 1, consisting of Basic and Applied Biomedical Science questions. In addition, her research project from UConn was selected by the American Association of Orthodontics as a winner of the Thomas M. Graber Award of Special Merit, where she presented her paper at the American Associations of Orthodontics Annual Session in Honolulu, Hawaii!
Dr. Lynch recently got married, returned to Hawaii for her honeymoon, and purchased a home in Marlton with her husband, Peter. Together, they enjoy going to Sea Isle, cheering on the Eagles and Phillies, cooking, and playing cards at home!
